Jumpman was a common Commodore 64 game in the 80s. In fact, from what I can tell, it practically came with the system it was so common. You were a man. And you jumped. That was all the premise we needed back then.
This idea leaped to mind (ha!) while a buddy of mine (the same one that rescued my computer after last December's hard-drive crash -- hi, Saturn!) were talking about fake video game trailers we'd seen online. At first, I was going to do a Pitfall Harry movie poster but he pointed out that there was actually talk going around about an actual Pitfall movies. I'm sure it would involve excessive amounts of vine swinging. So, Jumpman it is!
