This episode of Deranged begins a crossover story arc with Glitch. I've been looking forward to this for months. And have even managed to keep it somewhat secret. Which is hard to do for me whenever I get an idea I'm happy with.
The general concensus is that Adventure for the Atari 2600 is the first game to contain an Easter Egg. (And if I and Wikipedia are wrong, I'm sure I'll get an e-mail from the real Simon.) I spent hours playing that game as a kid and may well have been the first game I ever truly fell in love with. I wasn't really old enough to know what I was doing but it reminded me of Dungeons and Dragons (which I also loved but didn't know what I was doing at the time either). Anyway, it was my cousin's game so I only ever got to play it when I was over there. And one Christmas, after the coming of Ebay, I bought it for my sister as a gift. She also liked the game too, just fyi. Thanks about 31 years too late, Warren!
